About ConflictMapLive

ConflictMapLive is an independent project that tracks active armed conflicts and geopolitical tensions worldwide through an interactive, real-time map and a curated news feed.

Our Mission

The world is changing faster than ever, and staying informed about global conflicts has become harder, not easier. Headlines are scattered across dozens of outlets, important context gets buried under noise, and casual readers rarely have time to piece it all together.

ConflictMapLive was created to solve that problem: a single visual interface where every active conflict zone is plotted on a map, fed by trusted news sources, and updated automatically. Our goal is to make geopolitics accessible to anyone who cares about understanding the world they live in — students, journalists, researchers, and curious citizens alike.

How It Works

The platform aggregates news headlines from leading international outlets including Reuters, BBC World, Al Jazeera and The Guardian. Each story is automatically classified by conflict and location, then plotted on the interactive map. Readers can filter news by time range, conflict, or source — and click through to read the full original article on the publisher’s site.

We do not produce original journalism. We are a news aggregator and visualization tool that respects the original sources and always credits and links back to them.

Who Is Behind This

ConflictMapLive is a personal, independent project run from Spain. It is not affiliated with any government, political organization, news outlet, or interest group. There are no advertisers or sponsors influencing what gets published.

The project is self-funded and may display advertising banners to cover hosting and operational costs. Advertising never influences the editorial selection of news shown on the map.

Editorial Approach

We strive to be neutral and factual. We do not take sides in conflicts, do not editorialize headlines, and do not amplify opinion pieces. The platform simply reflects what trusted international media is reporting at any given moment.
