This Privacy Policy describes how ConflictMapLive (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit conflictmaplive.live (the “Service”). This policy is compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

The data controller responsible for your personal information is the operator of ConflictMapLive, contactable at conflictmaplive@gmail.com. ConflictMapLive is an independent personal project based in Spain.

- Hosting: Namecheap (USA)
- Maps: CartoDB and OpenStreetMap (tile imagery)
- News sources: Reuters, BBC, Al Jazeera, The Guardian (when you click on a news headline you leave our Service and become subject to their respective privacy policies)
- Telegram: If you choose to follow our Telegram channel, Telegram’s privacy policy applies
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We may share data only:
- With service providers strictly necessary to operate the site (hosting, analytics)
- When legally required (court order, valid legal request)
- To prevent fraud, security threats or abuse of the Service
